At this point, the remaining work is mostly about beta testing, final polishing, and preparing the Steam build.

If everything goes according to plan, we’ll be ready to release SOUTHWESTERN SEXCAPADES next week.

And this is not a small expansion.The base version of AMERICAN SUNSET was around 14 GB. With the DLC installed, the game has grown to more than 20 GB. That additional size represents roughly 1,500 new images and almost 500 new animations.

SERENA YELLOW CREEK

As I mentioned in a comment last week, I’ve decided to give SERENA: YELLOW CREEK a higher priority. This means we now plan to complete SERENA before I LOVE LAURA.

So, what does that actually mean for production? For the past 2-3 weeks, one of my artists has already been rendering new Serena scenes, including some particularly hot ones and, yes, one featuring Serena in an updated cat costume. Later, I plan to assign a second visual artist to the project as well. Once that happens, production should accelerate significantly and we’ll be able to move forward at full speed.

After the release of the AMERICAN SUNSET DLC, I’ll first prepare the new and updated ROMANCE.EXE demo. Once that is done, my focus will shift to developing the SERENA: YELLOW CREEK demo. We already have most of the renders prepared, but they need another round of post-processing using our latest tools and everything we’ve learned while working on our recent projects. We also need to prepare and polish the final version of the script.

So yes, we still have quite a bit of work ahead, but I’m convinced the result will be worth the wait.
