Thinking about Club Velvet Rose
August 7, 2026Today we'd like to share an idea we've been discussing internally for Club Velvet Rose: Midnight Bliss, and before making any final decisions, we'd love to hear what you think.
Our goal is not just to polish the game visually, but also to improve the overall gameplay experience.
One of the biggest changes would be a redesign of the quest system and the game's progression logic. We want it to feel much more natural to reach the scenes you're interested in without having to fight against complicated requirements or unintuitive progression paths.
We're also planning to remove some unnecessary restrictions. Certain choices that currently lock you out of future content would no longer do so, allowing you to experience more scenes during a single playthrough while still keeping your decisions meaningful.
Another important improvement would be reducing the amount of dialogue throughout the game. We don't want to remove the story, but rather present it in a more concise and engaging way, making it easier to follow and allowing the pacing to feel much smoother.
Overall, these would be significant gameplay improvements designed to make the game more enjoyable, less frustrating, and more rewarding to play.
But that's not all.
We're also considering a complete visual enhancement of the game. Every static image would be upgraded to a higher quality, and all animations would be rendered again using our current production pipeline. The goal is to bring Club Velvet Rose: Midnight Bliss much closer to the visual quality of our latest projects while preserving the original atmosphere and style.
This would be a major undertaking, so before we commit to it, we'd really like to know if it's something you'd like to see. Those changes are only dedicated to the content already published - we're not going to add any extra scenes to this game at this moment.
Please leave a comment below and tell us what you think. We'd also appreciate it if you could vote in the poll, as your feedback will help us decide whether we should move forward with this project.
Thank you for being part of our community. We read every comment, and your opinions genuinely influence the direction we take.
Should we rebuild CLUB VELVET ROSE: MIDNIGHT BLISS?
NOTE: We plan to work on those modifications without influencing the development of LWT and ROMANCE.EXE or SERENA, so you don't have to worry that it will delay the release of those games.
BONUS

So as I said before… i would love this game to be updated – if nothing else but ot fix the jade scenes… since julian never left serena.. her talking absolute shit about julian to the main character makes zero sense… he is not her sisters former partner.. but current… i think it would be an easy fix… she could still complain but more so that they both ran away to yellow creek without her.. so if you don’t update the visuals please at least update the fact DC was a dream 🙂
Great news, I hope you will release in on Steam!
Reducing the amount of dialogue is a great idea. CVR read like all characters came straight out of Hamlet. Having people talk normal would be nice.
Omg, who could have predicted you wanting to update another game with more weird looking ai-slop, instead of making new content lol
Well this one fixes lore consistency.. so…
Also they have two new games in development serena yellow creek and romance.exe…
Where did i say anything about lore consistency??? I dont have any issue with just updating text and logic in game. My only problem is with replacing assets with weird looking ai-slop so all the games look “similar”, when it is not needed especially when it wont bring any new content…
They have not said they would fix certain dialogue. But it would be kind of crazy if they disnt given it ties directly into a new game that is coming out… .i can only hope I guess lol
I’d be content with some minor content fixes and lore adjustments (like the aforementioned fixing Jade’s dialogue) but overall I’ve always been very happy with CVR2. Hazel’s model is legitimately one of the best on the site and messing with it by adding in AI hallucinations seems unnecessary and the environment as well doesn’t really need tweaking. I’ve also been perfectly fine with the game locking you out of pathways if you logically fuck it up because… it’s a game, that happens. Felt pretty straight forward but there are certainly a few scenes that could be laid out a little more naturally. Lastly, and maybe I’ll be in the minority because I didn’t even realize it was a thing, but I was perfectly happy with Mistress Ruby’s work on the dialogue and had no idea people actively didn’t like it. Maybe a bit wordy, but there was nothing that threw me off about it.
I agree
No, just…no. Why “improving” something that is already great? I don’t even get the thought behind remaking the gallery with AI.
Probably I’m alone with this but all these newer AI-assisted animations give me serious uncanny valley vibes. If I have to describe it they are too fluid and look too realistic. LOT for example had a certain style and the characters a certain look making them memorable. The style for CVR or Horos were different. With all the AI involved everything just looks the same and is probably one of the reasons I never even finished the Horos DLC.
Sadly most of the people here seem to like this new style. Even without all the consistency issues it neither looks nor feels like the same game anymore. I know there was some AI involved in LWT2: French Confessions which was quite good at several points because it didn’t touch graphics or lighting. Now I just have the feeling of AI being used in every part of it. I really don’t get it why you ruin your different styles in each game with a generic one that supposed to look more realistic (which I don’t like in the first place).
For me it just completely destroys the soul of the games. Maybe not having perfect animations oder hyper-realistic graphics is a good thing
I know probably nobody will care or read this, but this rant was much needed. I remained silent for too long about all of this
I agree with you. If so many people want this “realistic” ai look, it should be a way to opt of for us that dont like it at least imo
That’s my biggest complaint about these “enhancements”. That they’re going to ruin a game I already have purchased on Steam because I enjoy the way it is now. If they were just doing this for new games I couldn’t care less, I would just not buy them.
You make all the effort to make it look more and more realistic and I appreciate that, yet the amount of cum is out of this world. Consider that…
That is so fucking true. Probably cuz AI cant understand how cum works/look. And how AI sometimes hallucinates when creating faces and adds unnecessary skin details on the body.
I question how voting on this stuff is being used. It seems as though it’s being treated as some sort of public referendum where the losing side is obligated to go along with the results and that’s not the case here. If you start with the premise that 100% of your current customers and fans are reasonably satisfied with the current art style, which seems reasonable as they’ve already given you money. All the voting shows is that by doing these “enhancements” you risk alienating a significant number of the people that have supported your games in the past and stand a good chance of not giving you any business going forward. Keeping the current art style and adding more content, at least for existing games, would probably keep everyone satisfied.
Wish we could see how many votes along with the percentage. Also its almost starting to feel like lesson of passion has turned into disney by trying to gain easy money with all these “enhancements” and remakes that is not needed. I was fine with upscaling resolutions but now it has turned into “enhancing” every model with AI that makes them look unnatural and unrecognizable.
Maybe if you add the old characters!?
Can you implement old characters in some new games like Tori & Jordan 500? You completely forgot about them and you started this games with them they were the first love to see them in future!
Thank you for the detailed feedback. One thing is already clear: we bundled several different ideas into a single question, while many of you view gameplay improvements and visual changes very differently.
We hear the support for fixing quest progression, lore inconsistencies – particularly Jade’s dialogue – and unnecessary lockouts. We also understand the concern that replacing the existing artwork could remove the distinctive style you originally enjoyed and, for Steam owners, alter a product you already purchased.
We are therefore considering the gameplay/lore revision and the visual remaster as separate decisions and for now, we’ll focus on the first part – lore and gamaplay.
If we move forward with new visuals, we will investigate preserving the original presentation as a Legacy option or separate build rather than simply removing it.
Thank you for being honest with us – even critical feedback is useful when it explains what you value about the game.
Well I have to admit I’m shocked…in a good way. This is great news. Thank you!
Good news.. when those changes comes ill play through and enjoy it- i know im weird but I love game lore just as much as the game itself. Yes even in porn games. So Thank you!
I1m open to a remake for the game. I even say the club is a good place for a meeting point for characters across the games. It’s also good news that text will be reduced. What I’m not sure of is giving us more freedom to explore more in one playthrough. It sounds good but as it was stated choices need to be meaningful. Giving us everíthing in one playthrough just because is what hollowed out LWT recently.
You can make old models into new from scratch with AI now. Its not that hard. Old versions are not compatible with the new ones like Daz3D or other softwares. Using old graphics and pictures or models on the same software from previous version usually its not compatible but with certain AI you can use old models or pictures and get almost same results and more realistic depends on what kind of software you are using!
I’ll be completely honest. I did not enjoy CVR Midnight bliss at all. Hazel felt like she already cheated behind MC’s back a bunch of times even before the game began. And it lacked any sort of solid FFM content.
I would suggest and really request that, instead of committing to this project, please revive CVR: Miranda & Teri, and bring it up to current visuals with new additional content. That game was soo much more better, story, progression and content wise than CVR: Midnight bliss.
It’s an old game, yet still I feel it’s much better than CVR: Midnight bliss. The main couple in CVR: Miranda & Teri felt much more natural and a couple who wants to explore together, it was not the case in CVR: Midnight bliss. Again, felt like hazel had done a lot of things already behind MC’s back, which left a real soul taste.
Idk if you guys would read this or not, because I never got a reply till now, but if you do, please consider this.
Thanks
I agree completely i liked the old characters a lot more no idea why they did this game with new characters from scratch still confused
I think you should have put in more solo scenes
