American sunset: Golden Hour first animations reveal

The name is inspired by the golden hour in photography, the brief period just after sunrise or before sunset when natural light becomes warm, soft, and incredibly beautiful. It's the moment when photographers capture their most magical and breathtaking shots.
That's exactly what we want this new edition to represent. Just like the golden hour transforms an ordinary scene into something unforgettable, American Sunset: Golden Hour aims to deliver visuals and animations that will truly take your breath away.
Today, we'd like to share some of the animations we've completed so far. To showcase just how much has changed, we've included side-by-side comparisons of the original animations and their new Golden Hour versions.
Thanks to our enhanced visual pipeline, every scene looks sharper, more realistic, and far more immersive. Improved lighting, richer colors, and an incredible level of detail breathe new life into every moment, creating a much more intimate and cinematic experience.
The animations have also received a massive upgrade. In the original version, each animation consisted of 20 frames (interpolated to 40 during post-processing). Every sex scene has 2 animations: the first at 100% scale, followed by one at approximately 40% zoom. That model was slightly modified with later expansions.
For Golden Hour, we've completely reworked the animation system. Each scene now features two distinct animation variants, both based on the same source image, with 81 handcrafted frames each (expanded to 162 frames after post-processing). The difference is immediately noticeable. Movements are smoother, more natural, and significantly more lifelike.
If Living with Temptation 2: French Confessions and Eleanor in Miami marked a major leap forward in our animation quality, American Sunset: Golden Hour raises the bar once again, delivering our most immersive and visually stunning animations to date.
Just to remind you - GOLDEN HOUR is a free enactment of the AMERICAN SUNSET, which we're going to apply both to the STEAM and LOPGOLD.COM versions of the game.
That was beautiful. Golden hour indeed. But be mindful of extra fingers and other jank. Leveraging AI in post still sometimes outputs jank like missing/extra fingers and dicks going into holes that don’t exist. Especially in the DP’s. My bros, you gotta do the DP’s justice. This, LWT, the classic game that I’m sure brought a lot of people like me into the entire genre updated with new skins and content pulls on my heart strings. Also more DP’s and GB’s please. And of course with more harem content then I’m sure everybody’ll be happy. So expected Q3 or Q4? Thank you and good luck.

This is such an unnecessary enhancement/rework for this game. Now the game has gone from actual looking like a lesson of passion game to looking like any other ai porn game. The focus on making the game look as realistic as possible has ruined it for me, if i wanted to watch a porn video i would do that instead of playing this game.
Yup, same for me, i don’t mind some improvement, but this… Lisa’s thigh in 1:27 I guess cellulite hits early.
Seems like it is always the same usernames that want to defend/support all of this stupid ai updates. And the developer only listening to those who agree instead of using time to make a actually good game with the old style of animations since ai i so much cheaper and easier to us. It wouldn’t surprise me if thelast poll was rigged somehow.

i like it. The more realism, the better. For me, it remains LOP’s best game. It always has been. Seeing my favourite characters is always a pleasure. I don’t mind the AI-generated elements; on the contrary, I like it when the movements and bodies look more realistic.
Big improvement, looks great. Can’t wait to play the full game.

I think the imagery is improved overall, however, in some of the scenes the shading on the characters’ skin just makes them look dirty.
Already you can tell they did not ensure good QA
For example: 01:36 in the new version Daniel has two belly buttons, and his body looks off like a slim athletic build rather than his original buffed build. Was his breasts meant to bouce like that? So did Justin’s in 01:52
Justin’s face remained slightly different with each scene – like you had chatgpt continually re-render his face that never quite gives you the exact same face.
For example the face in 01:29 and prior vs hte face in 03:15
The extra detail and proper lighting are nice, but I don’t understand why young girls have patchy and rough skin, like they’re old women. It’s hard to imagine how unhealthy it must be to live and eat to have skin like that.
You gotta watch out for the way man pecks jiggle. In the anim where Sandy is riding Justin his man-tits jiggle like they’re made of fat, not muscle.
Personally I like the skin and lighting for the most part, but maybe it goes a bit far in places. maybe tone down the skin detail in your prompt, or add in prompts like “smooth skin”, “oily skin”, “shiny skin” etc. you might also want to tone down the lighting prompt or use a different keyword, like “hi key lighting”, or “soft shadows” or something, to make the light less harsh as it probably effects how the skin looks in the generation
Ok I love that the table shakes as you point Lisa and when you’re with Kiko in th car her hand is making an indent in the seat it really makes it feel more real!
Why not just make new games with AI slop if you want AI slop so bad in your games? Why do it in games that are beloved by the og fans who are pro artist and Anti AI? [edited]

It’s all very dark though, and a bit dark and grainy. It’s like everyone is banging is some post apocalyptic scenery. Also, why can’t the women in a porn game just be perfect? Perfect skin, perfect tits, just perfect. It’s a fantasy. I don’t need cellulite on Lisa.
When can we expect Serena release date?
The idea of using AI to generate images is great. The images are of absolutely outstanding quality. However, when it comes to animation, the results are mixed. The animation looks very smooth and lifelike. Howewer, the textures in the animations are terrible. The same goes for the cellulite. The really are a lot of things you don’t need to implement. Generally speaking. I’d rather have 10 good images than a single animation. By the way. Stop cramming black into every game. Making the characters zoophiles ruins the immersion.
The animations look good but still needs polishing. At 1:02 for example just like in horos the dick doesn’t go inside but shrink in like a spring. At 1:48 Justin’s chest moves like he is a woman with soft breasts and not a muscular man, Sandy1s movment is much better compare to the original tho. What the game actually needs is better writing. Justin just do wahtever he wants with no vonsequences. Affairs should have big consequences but Justin can just screw around the town’s women with no effect. That’s why Dominique is the best new character. Getting involved with her actually had effect on justin’s life. but even completeng that storyline doesn’t close off the totally happy ending with Tracy. It feels unnatural.
I think the skin texture needs to be reviewed – every character has the same hyper-realistic over-textured look, and it doesn’t look appealing. In some scenes, it works, in others, it is severely overdone, and looks like it’s adding detail just for the sake of adding detail. It many cases, it simply makes the character look much older.
I agree. I think in many cases the skin has a strange texture, like it’s sculpted from clay or something.
When can we expect Serena?

Why this sudden move to AI slop? Some things look okay but for the most part it looks terrible, everything has that ‘uncanny valley’ effect, the character models aren’t consistent and it just looks weird. It’s a real shame you guys have gone down this route instead of just updating the visuals, AI isn’t always the answer to everything….
Please look at 2:43-2:54. In the AI version its look like double vaginal.
