RELEASE: romance.exe episode 2
January 15, 2026Today, we got a couple of important announcements oriented around the romance.exe project.
EPISODE 2
For our lopgold.com subscribers, we're releasing EPISODE 2 (including the modified EPISODE 1 as well). Enter the members' area and experience the new chapter as a privileged member of our premium site.
We’re rolling out the story exactly the way it deserves to be told. All six episodes will launch first on lopgold.com, released one by one, so you can follow the journey as it unfolds. Once the final episode is complete, the full game will make its debut on Steam, packaged as a complete experience from start to finish. Stay tuned, this is just the beginning.
Short episode summary
Chloe texts in panic - her dog Ramzes is stung by hornets. Daniel gets sedatives from flirty Erica, calms the pup, then joins John & Sonia at Vibe69’s club. Sonia teases Daniel relentlessly behind John’s back, even trying to sit on his lap while John negotiates business. The next day Lalana’s silly PC fix ends in flirty tension. Erica’s club antics escalate; Chloe’s cozy evening at Daniel’s includes tipsy graphs for a raise—chemistry simmers. Ends with risky blowjob from Sonia at home while John’s on call. Chaos reigns.
EPISODE 1
What's important, we've updated EPISODE 1 with new animations, optimized visuals and a new journal interface where you can track all the choices you've made so far. Also, based on your suggestions, we've adjusted the tone a bit, making the game funnier and easiergoing, without Daniel constantly feeling guilty about banging his best friend's wife.
We strongly encourage you to play this episode again to enjoy our story even more.
Short episode summary
Daniel wakes from Margoyla nightmares to broke indie dev reality. He chats with supportive friends: flirty Lalana offers instant soups and teases his noodle diet, nostalgic Chloe gives coffee + high-school memories while planning to move in with Lalana, chill John advises delegation. Gym sparks fly with Sonia, John’s wife, he either resists or dives into a steamy shower scene. Erica flirts hard at the dentist, then Sonia calls for white-lingerie sex while John’s away. Tension, guilt, ramen & bugs build.

Really like the change in tone. He is at the start of the affair so it’s all justification not guilt spiral(yet :)) the new animations are great as well… one small.. minor nitpick lol. The profile says Daniel is 32, and chloe 23? But they went to highschool together?? Though it would be more interesting story if Daniel was 24 making and impulsive decisions.. making the Sonia seems even more fun lol but again.. minor nitpick – on to episode 2!

Small bugs in episode to image 398 not found after club with Sonia and later image 399 not found before second bug fix game.. Sonia bathroom scene-screen is black when Daniel goes down and images reappear when Chloe knocks.. not sure if that is a thematic choice?

Would like to see some of the choice now alert to fork – making Daniel have to choose between girls.. unless harem ending which i would be all for lol
I’ve fixed images 398 and 399 a day ago. I haven’t encountered any issues with the bathroom scene – both during local testing as well as on server.
